“Financial aid advising and funding are central to student support. After all, many students cannot enroll – let alone remain enrolled – without ample financial assistance.”

Michelle Cooper, Student Support Services at Community Colleges: A Strategy for Increasing Student Persistence and Attainment.

OMD Scholars also receive financial support in the form of last-dollar scholarships and stipends. Admitted scholars are endowed for up to three years to support their education at a community college.

OMD Scholars receive stipends which are intended to fill the gap between students' financial aid and the real costs of college, such as travel expenses, books and supplies, and even technology.
