Seeking Volunteer & Alumni Programs Coordinator

One Million Degrees is seeking a talented, highly-motivated, entrepreneurial individual who wants to play a pivotal role in strategy and organizational development. The Volunteer & Alumni Programs Coordinator is responsible for supporting OMD’s volunteer programs, including management of over 600 volunteer coaches, and managing OMD’s growing alumni programs. As part of the Program Team, the Coordinator will also work closely with scholar support staff and the Program Operations Team to provide effective support to external volunteers and partners. The OMD Volunteer & Alumni Programs Coordinator will work in our downtown Chicago office located at 226 W. Jackson Blvd.

Seeking Program Operations Coordinator

One Million Degrees is seeking a talented, accountable, and detail oriented Program Operations Coordinator to join a team of dedicated program support professionals.  The Program Operations Coordinator is responsible for managing OMD’s academic supports, including its one-on-one tutoring program for 200+ scholars. As part of the Program Operations team, the Coordinator will also work closely with scholar support staff and the Program Operations Manager to maintain scholar data and provide logistical assistance to the program team. The OMD Program Operations Coordinator will work in our downtown Chicago office located at 226 W. Jackson Blvd.

Seeking Office & Development Coordinator

One Million Degrees is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Office and Development Coordinator to join its team. The Coordinator will report to the Director of Operations and be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office including managing the flow of calls and visitors, maintaining supplies and equipment, and serving as a liaison to external organizations. The Coordinator will also work closely with the Development team, supporting OMD’s strategy to expand to serve more high-potential community college students in Chicago and beyond. The Coordinator will have the opportunity to gain exposure to areas including HR, finance, development, and event planning.

Seeking Program Coordinator

One Million Degrees is seeking a talented, energetic, and creative Program Coordinator to join a team of dedicated student support professionals.  The Program Coordinator is responsible for effectively managing a caseload of 50-60 community college scholars and ensuring their successful persistence and completion in college and the OMD Program, as well as a successful transition to a bachelors program or career.  As part of the program team, the Program Coordinator will play a key role in implementing OMD’s dynamic program model including scholar engagement and management, leading and facilitating monthly workshops and other scholar development events, fostering community- building, and ensuring scholars’ academic needs are met by working with the OMD Operations Coordinator.

Seeking College-Level Tutors

One Million Degrees, a non-profit working with community college students, is currently seeking college level tutors in a variety of subjects, specifically Mathematics and Science, but all subjects welcome.  A minimum availability of 15 hours per week is required.
